Landscape Paintings Customized for You
At this point, we are both new to taking commissioned work so we are doing it this way: if you want a landscape painting of your home, a vacation cabin, a favorite view, or a memorable mountain, contact us and we’ll see if we can take it on.
We may choose to paint more than one version. When we’re satisfied with what we’ve done with the subject, you’ll get your choice of the paintings.
Our commissions start at $300 and pricing varies depending upon size of the work, framing, and shipping.
One of our clients bought a new house before her wedding and a friend thought she would love a painting of her house as a wedding gift. She preferred a light, charming watercolor look.
Our client was thrilled with her gift when she saw how Marion had captured the essence of her new home. The watercolor was done with a special process that doesn’t require glass but was custom framed.
Another client took a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Glacier National Park, but while she was there, the GTTS Road was socked in with fog. She stopped at the first look-out to try to take pictures, but didn’t get the tops of the mountains.
She was fascinated, however, with the stray stratus fractus clouds called “scud clouds” and wanted them in the painting. So Kay painted them into the view of Bird Woman Falls seen from the first look-out – this time with the tops of the mountains showing.
